Back to basics

I've been trying all morning to get a decent shot of a hummer at the feeder. I finally decided that the feeder is too much in shadow under the deck eaves and all I will ever get is silhouettes.
Meanwhile the House Finches were posing beautifully at the seed feeder, so that's what I got. Then I remembered that was the exact same shot I posted as my first blip in April 2011! Going back to basics is always a good idea.
