A Slice of Life!

My Monte Cristi hat is coming to the end of its natural life after thirty years! This may the last shot of it before it is replaced for the summer holidays. It has a certain patina but may not be completely presentable. The weave has been breached at the peak of the dome due to poor hat handling on my part…one must always put it on and off holding the brim and not the said peak, which we would normally pinch when doffing our hats! Not that there’s much of that these days!
