Leckmelm Garden

After yesterday's exploits, we've stayed closer to Ullapool today and visited a variety of relatively local sites ...

... started off at the famous Corrieshalloch Gorge; then on to the Lael Forest & the Auchindrean Bridge; followed by a look around Clachan at the end of Loch Broom; with the final visit being to Leckmelm Garden.

I must have passed by Leckmelm Garden dozens of times, and have never been inside before - am very glad we stopped there today, as it most definitely stole-the-show, from amongst a group of strong contenders for 'best visit of the day'  :-)

So; the main snap shows one of the 2 'Scottish Champion Trees' within the grounds of Leckmelm - this one is a Japanese Hiba Tree : for scale you can see 'R' standing bottom-left of the picture!

Some low-level walking planned for tomorrow.
