Raining….and Dogs

Sat in my little hut at the entrance from the carpark to YorkGate.
Photograph shows how the cobbled path meets the gardens, Cafe straight ahead, plant sales on the right with the original family home and one acre garden to the left.
The cobble path was only completed three years ago and looks attractive in all weathers.
Teaming with rain all day and most visitors are for the cafe but a few hardy souls have braved the gardens.
A little bit of excitement when a dog (not on a lead ) escaped from its owner and ran into the gardens . He was calling to it but the dog didn’t respond. When he finally retrieved it he said it was old and deaf. I snapped him and the dogs scaling back over the fence to the golf course, not sure they should have been their either.
