The recent sunny weather in Scotland has created something dark, cold and slightly disturbing.

They've been appearing all over the place, always facing away from the sun like they're trying to hide.

They've attached themselves to buildings, cars, animals and, even more disturbing, I think there was one following me today.

Though I could never put my foot on it long enough to catch it...
