Common Mullein

This evening my husband was trimming some of the overhanging branches and vines along the hedgerow next to the road when he spotted this interesting plant. It is huge and is beginning to flower. I uploaded my photo to Google for identification and was matched to a Common Mullein, an invasive plant with impressive medicinal properties.
