Super moon

Oh this pic really does not do it justice. The moon has been a huge gold and silver ball in the sky for the past two nights. Utterly magical.

Took this pic at 00.01 this morning. Used phone camera through my spotting scope. Not so much point and shoot as point and cross your fingers. All bar this pic were just blurry white circles, was a bit surprised that this one had any detail at all. But it comes nowhere close to the drama of the real thing.
