Nailed it

On the spur of the moment I decided to have my nails 'done'.  I'd seen this fun design and thought it looked great (on someone else).

Having never done it before, I'd imagined that my appointment at the nail bar would be a bit like a hairdressers appointment where you'd discuss designs and what would look best....

No such luck.  It was very brusque and quite frankly intimidating.... I wish I'd known that this design would only emphasise my super short nails and my (rushed) colour choices as if I've permanently just finished an art class!

Ah well.  I live and learn.
