Another day, another castle

A lazy morning and this afternoon a drive to the castle at Warkworth. When we arrived we discovered that there was a medieval event going on today and tomorrow.
While the others hurtled round the castle and it’s impressive keep I listened to some medieval music and they got back just in time for a performance of The Lion and the Weasel. A short play about Richard the Lionheart and his Brother the infamous King John. The tone can be guessed at from the name of the group of actors, The Silly History Boys. Terrific fun.
