Camping in Limburg

Today Peter and I left Delfzijl at 8.00 am with South Limburg as our destination. No reservations or whatsoever were made. With out tents and camera gear in the back of my car we started our adventure.

We arrived around noon in Vijlen and first enjoyed a nice lunch. We then went on to search for a small camping. We found one in Camerlig, a small camping at a farm. Nice relaxed people there. We set up camp and then went on our way with our gear. The weekend had begun!

First we ended up at a castle Beusdael just over the border in Belgium.
We stopped at several spots in the region during the afternoon and enjoyed a delicious pizza in Bocholtz. After that we went on with our photography. At one point we were really chasing the light. Rain and sunshine were all over the place. The light was gorgeous!
Therefore it wasn't hard at all to pick todays photo for a blip. For this one we had to walk a firm 2km route in total. I like this photo a lot because it sums up the weather we had all day. Fantastic!

Around 22:30 we went into our tents for our first night.
Tomorrow the adventures will continue. Alarm clocks are set at 05.00 hours.
