End of an era

Last Elmhurst performance this evening and Jack was relieved to make it, to be able to perform the main role in the Studio Wayne McGregor commissioned piece. After a nasty head injury earlier in the week there was a lot of doubt as to whether he would be able to dance at all before they finished which would have been heartbreaking. But he recovered (enough!) and was fabulous.

These two have spent many hours together, travelling up and down the country to school, and Jack is hoping that he’s trained H well enough now to not get lost on the trains! He’s absolutely certain however, that he hasn’t trained her mum well enough to not get lost, the wrong turns on the car journey home are now a running joke between the pair of them.

Their younger siblings also travel together to their school, so it’s not the last time the families will see each other.
