As I was walking the Meerkat around the property this morning, I spied this teeny, tiny toadstool/mushroom/fungus, whatever. You can see how tiny it is as the green stuff it seems to be floating above, is moss.
I love the jaunty cap; almost a French beret if you use your imagination!!

I also snapped a ladybird but she was totally against posing or even poking her head out of her shiny protection. 

I'm posting early as we are awaiting the arrival of a VIP in no other than Doyley22 who is having a few days (wet by all the forecasts) with us. Hooray!
