This evening Paul received, by a courier, the Virgin connection pieces to set up our Internet.
I missed being able to blip and to look at my social media sites.
Thank you all for the comments on the crocheted mat and for good wishes with our house move.
Moving was very emotionally impactful. I am very tired and there are so many things to get done!
Just informing people of the change of address is a huge task.
We moved successfully on Thursday 20th July 2023 after 33 full years at the same address. There was a huge amount to shed. We are so thankful to be within driving distance of a few good charity shops and a well organised recycling centre. The Hyndburn based removal company did very well and moved all our possessions within a morning, starting at about 8am. Nothing was broken.
Paul and me were blessed to have a generous span of time to remove the remaining small items and furniture that fitted in our car. The old house is looking very empty and we are getting someone to deep clean all the interior rooms, before the keys are given to the buyer. It has been a big learning curve and now we are sorting out the many boxes full of possessions which are currently stored in our garage.
It is good to be blipping again.
