LARGE RED DAMSELFLY (Pyrrhosoma nymphula)

The damselflies are appearing more frequently now. This one seems to have lost the end section of it's abdomen.

Had a busy day catching up with things in the garden. We were only away for four days and everything seems to have grown out of hand.
I still need to finish putting things away after unpacking - a job I really detest!!
Another day tomorrow.... perhaps after yoga!
