Visitors from Australia

My cousin Paul is over from Australia at the moment. He brought his mum, my auntie, over to see my mum in her care home. We had lunch at the Toby Carvery first. The strangest thing. We were meeting there for 12:30. We waited in the car park for a little while then decided to check in and sort out the table. There were 7 of us and we had booked a table, but they couldn’t find our booking. Eventually we were shown to a table and we waited for the replies. Half an hour went by and there was no sign of them. Suddenly Paul was standing by our table. To say he was surprised would be an understatement. His family were already seated at another table behind a large pillar. They had shown us to two large tables. Different ones.
Anyway, it didn’t spoil our day and the two sisters were delighted to see each other.
