Lindisfarne Castle

The timing was difficult because the causeway wasn’t clear until 4.15 pm. Still we had a lovely drive there via Bamburgh (Bamburgh Castle is what the word awesome was invented for) and the causeway is fun and the castle is iconic even when shut.
Just caught a cafe before it closed and sat outside with the kid’s feeding crumbs from their ice cream cones by hand to the sparrows. Delighted to have tiny birds on their hands.
Lucky with the weather so far and much enjoyment being had on the beach and in the hot tub. Fab day.
