Oh such a Perfect Day

When the sun shines like this you can almost forgive the months of miserable, cold, windy, wet and snowy stuff we have to put up with!
Surprise visit from a friend this morning for a cuppa and chat out in the garden. Manic hour squeezing in all of the morning's planned housework and cooking. Meet up with mums, babies and toddlers here this afternoon - spent in the garden. Play date here after school for the girls. Had a BBQ and sat outside to eat our feast. Followed it up with iced lollies. Some lovely catch ups and a wonderfully relaxed afternoon into evening. Just what a day off work should be like.
