Soggy six row barley....

A wet morning.
Stevie arrived at 9am to PD some cows next door and a few here. He had the 49 done by 10am. Then spent a while with wee brother sorting out what ones had to go out to different fields. There are 3 yeld ones that I will take to the mart tomorrow, and another 3 that can go next week once I've got replacement ear tags for them.
It dried up a bit this afternoon,so baled up some grass to feed the calves we are busy weaning just now. Then headed off down the road to feed heifers. Came home via the fields at Temple just to see how wet the straw they cut yesterday was. Despite there now being a stiff breeze,it was still soggy !
Back home to empty the trailer load of soggy bales I brought home last night. Sunny now ( of course it was ! )
This is a six row variety of barley. Most have 2 rows of heads .
