The Pencil

..and The Pen

In todays Cathedral Eucharist Service, Cannon Missioner's sermon focused on the Pencil used by The Soviet Union space mission (compared the vast investment made by NASA on the gravity non-dependent pen and linked 5 characteristics to bible passages:

1. Great things can be acheived if you allow others to hold you;
2. Sometime events are painful (sharpening);
3. Mistakes can be sorted (using an eraser);
4. What's inside is the most important;
5. It's made for a purpose - not to be left in a drawer.

As questioned I related to 4 the most.

It was an interesting layout today with the service table directly under Gaia, mid nave with the visting Choir from Fulham (London) at the far end near the quire.

Mrs M and our son had a good visit to see The King, playing with lego and with the much in favour coffee maker.
