A Tiny Fly

I think it might have been on the Lily bud trying to avoid the Pond Skaters who would definitely  consider it as a meal.
I was actually out there to try and remove one leaf to show SWMBO how strong the stems are. When it eventually let go of the root/corn it also showed how long it is (with an indication of how deep the pond is too) ...... up to my mid thigh!!
I managed to get a shot right inside an opening flower which is really quite different from a fully open one.
