Well I suppose that as some people regard bowls as a 'silly' pastime I could have entered this into Silly Saturday.

However, for more 'sensible'people it is a serious test of hand / eye coordination and downright skill. 

Here we have a master of the sport sending a wood down on Rink 1 at Newbold-on-Stour Bowls Club in a match between Newbold and Welford.

The extra reveals who the master is, chrispybox, as he sends another wood down, a fellow blipper known to many of us and who I managed to catch up with at the match.

 A short conversation as he was focussed on the job in hand, winning the end. I know we'll catch up properly soon at any upcoming blip meets and I will be looking forward to it.
