Dixon's Chimney

A carlisle landmark - when I came for my interview I was told to head for Dixon's Chimney because the structure is right next to work.

Dixon's Mills were originally built in 1836 but they have not been used for industrial purposes for many years.

The measures almost 100 metres tall and was saved from demolition by a former mayor. It is good to see that our industrial heritage can be preserved and saved from the wrecking ball. I did like the blue skies today and it was really pleasant to wander around the city today. Summer has finally arrived?
