90!

It was mum's 90th birthday. We didn't think we would see the day over the last 6-7 months.
This is my sister, Jackie and my eldest son, Jamie.
Mum has had many bouts of illness, many serious. It has profoundly affected her underlying health. 
The last 4 months have been in a nursing home - which is absolutely fantastic. The staff and care is second to none.
Mum didn't really capture and understand what was going on sadly, but, it was a chance for family, friends and neighbours over 7 decades to get together. 
The care home put on a fabulous afternoon tea for us all in their day centre. A great day.
