Red House, William Morris
We had another epic day of exploring in London.
For years the National Trust ran 'Red House' has been on my list of places I wanted to see. It's an iconic arts and crafts house and the only house commissioned, created and lived in by William Morris. The house and garden are a treat to see.
We took the train all the way back across town from Bexleyheath to Victoria for the Tate Britain art gallery which has a collection of 500 years of British art.
We had a wander around Covent Garden at tea time and finished off the day at the Barbican Estate. Built in the 1970s in 'brutalist' style but the gardens were redesigned in 2013 by Nigel Dunnett and this is what I wanted to see.
