Wallflower

Another comment about the crazy weather.....

Spent a little time in the garden this afternoon and was instantly drawn to the beautiful smell coming from this wallflower..........it soooooo was the smell of spring  I even took my wee seat down there and just sat and enjoyed the smell for 5 minutes!

Visited J today but she was out so will have to try again soon.

Rest of the day was spent on cleaning-type things.  Pulled the vacuum apart and subjected it to a thorough clean then pulled the dishwasher apart for the same treatment.  There was something very satisfying about both tasks despite them being dirty jobs.  Thank goodness for the wallflower which refresh my senses after the cleaning was done. 

Looking forward to what will be a nail-biting ladies football match this evening as NZ try to achieve what they have never achieved before - making the last 16 of the World Cup tournament.  Fingers and toes crossed.
