Barred Owl

Ran across the Whatcom Falls Park Barred Owl this morning out hunting for crawdads. He didn't have much luck catching anything and then got chased off by a King Fisher that had a nest nearby. I'm sure he will find another spot and hopefully have better luck. Now that I know where the King Fisher nest is, I'm going to stop by tomorrow with a better lens and tripod to hopefully get some shots.
