falling in love with Crete

We headed to Georgioupoli where St Nicholas’ church is accessed by steps over the sea - gorgeous. Then on to Lake Kournas where we took a pedalo over the lake to see the turtles who live there. Just stunning! Naturally we got a pedalo with a slide and felt like really easily pleased yachties.

We rounded off the afternoon in a taverna where we agreed that Greek food is kind of like the best bits of British stodge infused with sunshine.
