Manchester Cathedral

We decided to head up north to visit Manchester Cathedral. Unfortunately part of it was inaccessible due to a clothing fair (?) going on but what we saw was beautiful. We then headed over to Salford Quays, and visited the Lowry which was heaving but luckily the LS Lowry gallery wasn’t too bad. I find his paintings fascinating: although he’s remembered for his matchstick people he also painted landscapes seascapes & portraits.
