Hot morning…

down at the river, where there seems to be much more water than last week. It was hot and sunny, which encouraged the Common Hawker dragons to fly up and down and over the bracken and Alders ,very actively, feeding . Plenty of Clegs for them to eat! There were Dark green fritillaries, Speckled Wood and Small Heath butterflies. Most of the birds seem to have finished breeding and they and their young have left.
