The Rest & Welcome

This used to be a pub in Haultwick called The Rest & Welcome. I was a regular drinker there in the 1970s but it has been closed for many years now. It was like dropping into someone’s living room for a pint. Culture is changing. Drink driving is no longer acceptable. Smokers are forced outside. Prices of beer have gone through the roof.
I wonder what will take it’s place?
