Cuckmere River

After a long day of ditch surveying on the grazing marshes, we dropped into High and Over on the way back to our lodging. This gives amazing views over the Cuckmere River and our survey site. I liked the shapes of the river in this image, heightened by the low angle of the sun, and the resident flock of Canada Geese grazing on the saltmarsh.
