Not-Holiday Day 1

We spent a gorgeous morning together. We got up early and headed out for Macdonald's breakfast which we took to eat under the Humber Bridge. Katie wanted to play in the redone park down there and we had a glorious time before setting off to Tropical World in Leeds. Many many photos of their tiny monkeys followed and she communed with a meerkat, as seen here. 

We decided to go to IKEA for early tea and to buy a few things that we probably didn't need. 

Redoing her room has become one of the targets of the week. Pray for my sanity.
