Look what I found on my backpack today! (Monday) They're flying thick as rain. Cottonwood trees were a favorite of neighborhood architects as they grew quickly and provided significant shade. They apparently never lived under one, however...
Cottonwood trees can be spotted at other times of the year by their two tone leaves. When the wind blows, the configuration of the leaves to the stems and branches makes the leaves appear to "twinkle" in the wind. Check it out!
PS posted on Tuesday, as the sandman took me away before I could finish the blip!
