Fitz and Carraldo

Are looking a bit fed up. The constant Irish rain is draining the colour off their magnificent (s)elves. Eh no. correction. They are gnomes - not to be confused with the inferior elves.

This is my version of a Rousseau painting (literally the only photo taken today at 9.30pm). I have been sitting sketching and painting for a large part of the day and I’m worn out from basically doing nothing.

I have talked about Rousseau before. But in case blippers missed out, read here. Even tax collectors can be artists. They just need to listen to nobody but their inner voice urging them on.
