Bee on Dahlia

A morning spent waiting and waiting for the Greenthumb man, a medical phone call, and a visit from the District Nurse. Of course all three happened this afternoon, the minute our visitor arrived for a cream tea! Liz is one of dad’s former pupils, he taught her 65 years ago, they had a lovely time reminiscing and looking at old school photos. Funnily enough I bumped into one of my former pupils yesterday in Bristol, she’s now a teacher herself, I felt very old! Strange weather, eventually reached 20 degrees, I think, but heavily overcast all day, though dry until the evening.
