Unexpected Cricket

Was wandering back from Inverleith park to Stockbridge through the lane running past the back of the cricket ground at Goldenacre and there seemed to be a serious ‘white ball’ game in play. Turns out it was a T-20 World Cup qualifier between Denmark (Red) and Jersey (Blue). Didn’t hang about too long, just enough to see one catch and a run out. I think the chaps in the foreground were engrossed they never moved while I was there. Apparently Jersey won by 28 runs, though neither teams will make the main event next year unlike Scotland & Ireland who meet up at the Grange this afternoon.
