visiting family. Spotted the snowy when we arrived at our final station. It's much cooler here in the south than it was in Berlin. We dropped our things off and walked to the next town to get some dinner ingredients. It's a familiar walk that we wander along every time we come here. It takes you through a valley with vineyards on one side and forest on the other. 

We stopped for a drink and listened to a local band who were belting out rock classics to an enthusiastic audience. After two beers and a suggestion that wheels on the bus should be sung we took the teenager home for some dinner and a board game. Ticket to ride is a favourite that stays here in the south.
