Porty sunshine

Alf had business with the dentist in Portobello this morning, and as I had taken a day off, I came out to join him after my hair appointment first thing, and we enjoyed a wee brunch in the Beach House.

Afterwards, I wandered down to the water's edge, taking care not to fall over any of the many pre-school children on the beach, to take a couple of snaps facing west and east. Just enough action in the sky and in the water to make it a glorious sight.

A few bits and pieces to do this afternoon, although I shall be taking it gently, before a friend comes round for dinner. From tomorrow, all will be madness until the weekend.
