Metal Idea #5

Have always admired people's images of the internal workings of antique pocket watches. Unfortunately we don't have one, but for my photography group's "Metal" topic I thought I'd take the back off a mechanical watch we do have. Unfortunately there are additional internal covers over the rest of the mechanism, but, as the largest of the screws shown in the image are about 1 mm in diameter I didn't dare delving further. This is a stack of 15 images taken with my Laowa macro lens and assembled in Zerene Stacker. I only used half that number of images in my first attempt, which looked OK as I was focusing , but clearly wasn't enough once I'd enlarged it!!
