Cat Tin Clock!

This utterly wondrous item was one of my acquisitions from the Colonies Yard Sale last month. I'd actually spotted these clocks before at some of the craft fairs I do (by a very nice lady under the name 'Tintabulous') and oohed and ahhed over them but just couldn't afford to buy any, so when I saw this and it was only £5 I grabbed it, pushed the money into her hand and legged it before she changed her mind! I love it, it's everything I would want in a tin box clock, even has cats on it and everything :)

Mags and I took ourselves off to see Star Trek at the flicks today. I'm not a fan and haven't seen any of the other films although I do remember the old TV show with the cardboard rocks from my childhood quite fondly. But I've never been a big Sci-Fi follower and may be slightly quilty of rolling my eyes a bit when people enthuse along these lines.
However.... this was BRILLIANT! I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was hilarious (possibly some of it wasn't meant to be quite as funny as I found it, I may have uncontrollably snorted during a rather tender moment between Kirk and Spock...). Just loved all the action and the terrible accents and Sherlock Holmes was in it too! I love Sherlock. *sigh* Put me in a sandwich between Spock and Englebert Cucumberpatch anytime. I'd be a happy happy girl ;)
