Long, Wet Day

It hardly ever stopped raining today, which made us really happy. The temperatures of 12°C (in the Taunus hills) to 16°C (in the Rhine valley) felt more like October than July, but I didn’t mind.

I was up early, to pick up my mother’s carer E from her bus at 7:50 A.M.. After I drove her to my mother’s house and had breakfast with them, I returned home to work, and then drove back to take K to her bus back to Poland, which left at 7 P.M.

A long and tiring day, and I am looking forward to an early night.
