Wednesday: Almost Rain

Rain threatened on and off today but never quite came to anything.

We’ve had quite the social week.  In addition to online cavorting with friends over the last couple of days, we had a US colleague of mine over for dinner tonight.  She is going through a bit of a rough time as her husband has left her, which came as a big shock.  

We’d invited her over for comfort food and venting and she asked if she could bring two friends who were visiting from the States to cheer her up.  They came over too and we had a great time.  For us, it was also nice to meet some new people.
