Second date

So .. after weeks of waiting since Shortbread was spayed, this week was the start of the ‘bonding’ process with Kanji. Up until now they have been kept in adjoining runs outside, with Shortbread still coming indoors at night.
We have never had a problem socialising our various pairings of rabbits throughout the years. I think we’ve been lucky in always having at least one docile rabbit. This time it’s a bit more problematic so we are following some of the advice on bonding available online. This is a short ‘date’ in neutral territory. There was a bit of friction at times but we managed to stop it escalating into a fight. It is a very stressful process - for all concerned!
