Harvest

After another evening of coughing, I phoned the doctor this morning and got an appointment for this afternoon. It turns out I have a chest infection, which is good news as it is easily treatable. I'm now on antibiotics for a week.
It was quite a relief really, much better than a chronic cough with no identifiable cause. I feel like Spike Milligan, with his famous line of- I told you I was ill.
These brambles were by the Water of Leith just next to the surgery. Looks like there is going to be a good harvest this year. The one I tasted though was still decidedly sour.
