Oops

Went for a walk this afternoon to pick up my newspaper and took the circuitous route via a lane that leads to a water treatment plant and veers off to a footpath that takes me to the outer part of the village. As I walked down the lane I came across this truck that had somehow veered off the roadway into the adjoining ditch. Difficult to work out how it happened, and the workmen inspecting the scene didn't seem to know either! Certainly the roadway is not wide enough for two vehicles to pass by in opposite directions. I'll have to pop down there again tomorrow to see if it's been salvaged.
