The Rookery: Walled Garden Wood Pigeon

I went to The Rookery on my way to the dentist, but the low light, the wind, and the (recent) rain meant that there wasn't much exciting insect activity... I did find lots of honey bees, and some sleepy bumble bees, but it was this wood pigeon that seemed most engaging today; it kept me company in the white garden, before hopping up the steps to the main walled garden.
