Lose A Shoe - Like You Do

There was only one.  I think it might be a football boot/shoe but I can't tell.

It rained again which is marvellous.  I know it's not great for the wine producers in this region (and we have a lot) but as I wrote yesterday - we need summer rain after 6 years of drought.

A friend got in touch last night - someone I haven't heard from in years, it was great to hear from her.  Sadly the news she had to pass on wasn't the happiest.  Her mum died this week.

I was very fond of Fluff.  Couldn't buy a present that wasn't pink and/or fluffy.  Very much her own woman.

My friend told me her last words were "I want to sleep now, bugger off." It's up there with Oscar Wilde's "Either the wallpaper goes or I do".  I'll raise a glass to Fluff tonight.
