Remembering Mum

Mum would have been 100 today. One of the last things she said to me was she wanted to get fit so she could live to 100. Not to be.

She was a very sociable and talkative person. Didn’t have much formal schooling but was learning things throughout her life. She loved and excelled at trivia games and scrabble. At the age of 90 she was learning all the flags of the different countries. Other than her family her great love was of horses. I found this book with her name in it yesterday. She was still riding in her late 60s and 70s I think.
