Subdued

An early start to walk over to Berwick in the rain to catch the sorting office before it closed at 10am to pick up the elusive letter/package. I needn’t have bothered as said mail has been returned to sender…it had been from the Scottish Courts and hadn’t to be re delivered apparently! Presumably they’ll resend it as I’m assuming it’s my divorce papers.

The next few hours were spent with the wee one, I was tasked with taking him to the surgery for a couple of booster jabs…he wasn’t a happy bunny! We were caught in the rain both there and back so I had to buy him a raincoat when we reached the high street, having already bought new shoes for him on Monday…£50+ I won’t see again. We went out to lunch at the youth hostel where Daddy works…he spent a couple of hours entertaining everyone with his imaginative play, he’s come so much out of his shell this year which is a real joy to see.

Walked home about 4ish as I’d an earlier than usual WI meeting. We had a presentation from the local hospice care at their shop/office premises…an interesting talk followed by tea, cake and our usual business meeting before a chance to shop.

A late walk along the prom once home hoping to see a sunset…it was very subtle but at least there was one. There had been no chance of a sunrise this morning hence the late blip.

Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday.
