Sunrise is too early for me...

...and sunset was uniform grey...

So I give you instead - up the river Tyne and down it for WidWed - plenty of cloudage ;)

A nightmare journey this morning - accident on the motorway so it was closed between J39 and J40 and that fouled up all the roads into Wakefield. We couldn't get through to the Pilates studio, so we turned back and regrouped with a coffee and a bacon butty at Blacker Hall Farm. 

Mrs Google came into her own with a suggested route round Wakefield to Junction 41, so we got to Tynemouth in reasonable time.

The road didn't open again until mid afternoon, so we made the right decision. Apparently it was a bad crash involving two lorries, so hope they are OK.

A good night out with the Wallsend Gels, and tomorrow heading for Portinscale and the Marina for a blipmeet and a trip to the theatre
